The current DragStar has enjoyed consistently strong popularity since its release in 1996 due to its unique “Long & Low” styling, its impressive presence that makes you look good even when riding slow and the appeal of customizing potential.
The XVS 400 is Identical to the XVS 650 but with a smaller engine capacity and is available in the Standard and Classic version. Primarily designed for the Japanese home market the 400 is not often seen in England, which is a shame, due to its excellent reputation and low running costs. The Drag Star is basically a mini Royal Star.
Combining a rigid rear end with a monoshock suspension system for the seats, a Yamaha Dragstar looks every bit a traditional cruiser, but with real comfort for the rider and passenger. It's built to be looked at, so its lack of ground clearance of 5.7 inches shouldn't worry potential buyers.
